Sorry I know this is a bit of an unoriginal question but If you have quite pronounced autism/aspergers how come ‘some’ women will not want to have sex or sleep with you etc...?

You would have to ask them, but a fair guess would be that they simply find you unattractive.

Somebody with “quite pronounced” autism probably doesn’t have sex on his/her mind too much.

In the vast majority of cases, the autism within those with Asperger’s is not “quite pronounced.”

Because *all* people on the spectrum are creepy and weird, which makes us unattractive.

Can some neurotypical men struggle to get sex as well?

Duh. Everybody has had trouble "getting sex" at one time or another; and if you think that "getting sex" is the be-all and do-all of relationships, then you are unlikely to ever "get sex".

Sure they can. I’ve known neurotypical people who have trouble getting sex and have trouble being satisfied from sex.

Most women only want to have sex if they are in the right mood to want sex and if they are in one way or another attracted to the man. Often part of being in the right mood for sex is due to the interactions that took place before sex. If a man has social impairments he may not be able to create the right mood or may do things that are in other ways unattractive. Attraction isn't purely about looks.

If he looks weird, walks weird, talks weird, smells weird, or otherwise behaves weird, then he probably is not the kind of man that a woman would want to have sex with.

And weirdness is in the eye of the beholder...

We aren't attracted to every man, we don't want to have sex as often as some people do, we only want sex under specific conditions, etc. etc. There are many reasons. Autism isn't the only one, but I'm pretty sure a lot of autistic men have sex at some point.

i know one 73 year old man who i suspect might be autistic. hes in a friendship which is kinda a relationship with this lady who is 58 who also has high functioning autism herself.

however she does not want sex with him at all. is that normal because of the age gap? i think the older women get the less they seem to want sex.

That is true for some women. I am in my sixties and I have a lover who is significantly younger than me, I am not attracted to 70 year old men unfortunately. Most of my NT female friends gave up sex in their sixties, but not all.

"give"

"up"

"sex"

I'm sorry, Teach ... those word make no sense at all when used in the same sentence!

Is that an American thing? Give up, give up smoking, give up sex? Get it?

Edit: Now I get you! All this solitude is withering my brain
