PS 1: Yes, I know it's unethical, but I am a jerk, so lecturing me about that won't work.

PS 2: They chose to put their pictures on Tinder, so it's on the internet already, and tinder has a much way larger audience of online strangers than WP - so bite me - again I don't care, I am an unethical jerk.

PS3 : No, I have no remorse at doing this.

So I created another fake male tinder with a photo of a male model.

And....
This sample of Tinder ladies, one aged 36 the other is 33, as you can see, they are not Angelina Jolie, not uglies, but let's be honest, they are regular like the most of humanity:

What do they have in common?

They both believe they can have THIS guy   :

In fact, this fake account did fail to match with any of the Model-looking like women.

"Confrontation" conversation, the moment of truth:

At least she finally was honest at the end.

What you notice in the conversations above, that.....well, when I "confront them" - they always have the tendency to deny at first that they care for looks - I dunno why, the first thing they always mention are things like "Personality, charisma, attitude" and stuff like that, but they are failing to admit that no chance for this guy's "Personality, charisma or attitude" would have been digged if he didn't have these looks in the first place, until you get them cornered with questions.

Another thing you notice, that they do really believe they can attain THIS guy; they are so extremely delusional about their own looks and their target's looks.

I repeated this experiment with other matches, and they all show this tendency.

What you see here, is one of the major flaws in online dating: an extreme inflated ego.

I am sure many of the guys here will laugh a lot , and many women here would get angry at this thread....i know, i know.

Nothing terribly surprising here.

Except...

Apparently Barbie married this guy:

I think she meant Ken. Barbie's boyfriend doll lol.

Ironically, the model guy she swiped right on isn't far from how Ken looks.

And guys, notice how that the two pics at the top are the last pic in their album, showing clearly their faces - while their chosen pic as avatar is angular (which is the same first pic shown on tinder) and head partially hidden by hair...etc

As you know boo, every girl is a superstar..

The only way this is ever going to change, is that modern start valuing themselves.

Dating apps like those are for people to make quick judgements based on profile pictures about who they want to have sex with. The whole concept caters to shallow people. No surprises here.

I think those women could be attracted to the photo and but also be open to less good looking people. Looks are not everything.

Why do you care at all? You seem to be obsessed with online dating.
You expose shallow women, so what? They will not change.
Everyone will go for the better looking mate, men as well!
Why do you not conduct another's experiment with a pretty woman? You would get the same result.
And at the end of the day, does it matter really? They will end up alone.
People who are ready and capable of being in a healthy relationship will always find a mate.
This is just a waste of energy.

You didn't "expose inflated egos". You just insulted random strangers online for no reason. That's such a horrible thing to do...

It's possible they're shallow and appearance-focused people. But it's certain that you care enough about them to spend the time and effort to put on this show and then post about it on this site. Who's really pettier here?

Men are as shallow, the key difference is that they *admit it* - many women on the other hand, like the above, deny it.
