Her profile is empty. She messaged first saying hi then talked about having a headache. I said that sucks I hope it gets butter then I asked what her interests were to try to find talking points. She went silent and now blocked me . 0.o

I’d prefer people have stuff in theIt profile but I’ll still message them if they don’t. I just don’t get why they get offended when I then ask them about themselves to find talking points.

Did you get my message?

She might not have wanted to talk about anything other than "Do you know the best thing to cure a headache? *wink wink*".

Yeah I haven't been on my computer yet...it's too fiddly on the phone to respond.

This is a really tragic rate, this is the true typical problem of males on dating sites (except the top hot ones).

Other than eHarmony (where at one point I was swamped with messages), I have to wonder why any male would even bother with online dating. If you want to go bald, there are easier ways than pulling your hair out in frustration. I see free websites as the equivalent of lining up for a crappy minimum wage job you probably don't even want. Better to focus your energy where it can go to productive use.

I had many times where I went on a great first date, everything went well, she agrees to go out again so I schedule a second date and she would suddenly disappear the day of the second date leaving me wonder if she isn't lying unconscious in a ditch somewhere. Imagine what would have happened if I got involved with someone like that? I could come home from work and find the entire house cleaned out without warning!

Eharmony is expensive. And if the women haven’t paid they can’t even reply to you. Also many of the same women on OkCupid I saw on eharmony. I, pretty sure 90% of people on dating sites are on all the dating sites. So you’re paying to to message the same women from OkCupid who now can’t message you back. So what are you paying for?

Maybe if you had to pay just to even have you on there it’d make more sense. But they do free profiles.

If I recall right, you're very Tall and probably have an attractive career.

I don't think most men would be swamped with messages on eharmony or anywhere else, you simply been a relatively Alpha male on eharmony compared to most guys there, maybe because it is a paid service and hence there are far few males there.

I've never tried ehamony because it looks so US/Christian-focused demographically, also from what I read Height there seems to be one of the main matching criteria in their algorithm, so it's a lost battle for me before even to start- but I do believe sly on how there are the same people on all dating sites.

^^^ I doubt you would of been let in Boo. eHamony wouldn't let me in & I've read at least a few threads in this section from other Aspies who weren't let in either. You have to be a predefined certain type of person in order to be matched with anyone thou I think the people they don't let in might could be matched with others they wouldn't let in but this is a topic for another thread.

I've used aLOT more dating sites than I can remember & I still recognized some of the same women on multiples. Some of those women had been active recently but almost none of em replied to my messages so I can only assume they are looking for just the rite one person for them & aren't that desperate cuz some of them were very far from perfect themselves.

She probably rejected you for other reasons and not for your message. If a person is into you then any message from you will seem interesting and funny.

Don't feel bad about not getting replies.

This didn't cross my mind when I first read the op, but the more I think about it the more I agree with yellowtamarin. sly likely missed a social queue to reply with something like "I bet I know what would make you feel better.." or "Headache, eh? Sounds like you could use a massage.." or something along those lines, if not even more sexually direct. She was probably fishing for a sexy response and sly replied with what he did and she lost interest.

I think all of you are being too serious, "Oh she stopped replying because the guy must have failed to read her amazing puzzle mind" .

Seriously guys, most girls on okc just chill and tease and don't really intend to do any dating, some even use it once in a while then they drop it because they really don't need it to get dates. It's so unlikely that it was sly's fault.

This thread reminds me of this crazy one last december (note: that was with my real profile, not a fake one):

As you see, she stopped replying, but checking her profile now, she didn't visit okc since last 24 december. She probably simply teased some guys and got bored of it.
