Tell me about how you met your partner

No, not your actual partner, and not how you actually met (unless the answer is the same!), but the hypothetical/imaginary one in a world where it goes exactly as you'd like.

I met mine at a boardgaming meet-up. She joined my table to play a silly party game, and we ended up on the same team. We won because we were so compatible and worked so well together. We played a few more games throughout the evening, then I'm not sure who actually asked who but we ended up going out for a casual drink afterwards. The End/Beginning.
