Just do that or be sorry later when she tells you she's on the pill....or he tells he is not with anyone else.

Being realistic. People are going to have sex. At least protect yourself. Buy the condoms and have them ready for showtime....nobody is going to want to run to Walmart late at night....

I think a vasectomy would be better if you’re sure to not want kids. Plenty of stories of holes poked through condoms or otherwise confiscated in secret.

turning to ashes flowers in their fields,
silenced the birds in the trees.

I would only get a vasectomy if it's reversible.

You might want a kid some day.

I can't imagine anyone would argue against the use of condoms, so if I may ask, what brought this up?

Even if you use a condom, there is not only the risk of breakage, but there is always the risk that she will claim you as the daddy, and you end up supporting a kid that isn’t yours. This is called “Paternity Fraud”.

What’s worse, paternity fraud is not recognized as a crime!

I guess judges are of the belief that if a man is stupid enough to sign a birth certificate without so much as a blood test, then he deserves to be cuckolded.

Of course, if you’re already married to her, then it is automatically (and legally) assumed that you’re the father. Even if it’s obvious that the child and the man are not related (i.e., husband and wife are Scandinavian, child looks Ethiopian), the man still has to prove that he is not the father.

Yeah, use a condom — one that you know is safe. Better yet, bank your semen and get clipped — that way, no bonus babies!

Condoms aren't perfect but better than going outside in the rain without a raincoat...

For the certainty some seem to want....don't have sex at all.

Years ago when I was naive I almost bought condoms, but I’ll never have sex. So would been a waste of money

You want 100% contraception? Men, keep yer goddamn schvance in your pants! Ladies, don’t flaunt it. Better yet, submit to what we put companion animals through: spay and neuter!

Also not having sex with people you barely know or trust can't hurt.

Hormonal contraception (or preferably "natural family planning")
+ the best type/brand/size condom you can find is the safest way I know of.

I once read how one dude has had vasectomy and everytime he orgasmed he had pain in the groin.
Would love to have a vasectomy; but scared to hurt my balls.

I'm all for abstinence but not realistic in society.

Don't screw around indiscriminately.

Don't sleep with people that you don't want to have kids with.

Some people are asexual and don't desire sex at all. And of course, the only real safe sex is no sex. If other people don't understand, that's their problem and not mine. And besides, guys like to believe their women are all like the Virgin Mary when they first meet.

 Wow.

There are PLENTY of people who argue against the use of condoms & many of them refuse to have sex with a condom. This is almost exclusively males & for reasons of pleasure/sensation.

Of people didn't have arguments against condom use there would be lower teenage pregnancy rates & sti transmissions etc.. but fact is, there are plenty of people who pretty much refuse to use condoms.
