If you were to touch someone, don’t ask. Just do it.

Alpha: Just put the hand on the shoulder or gives a hug without asking.

Beta: “Can I please touch your shoulder”

Don’t be the beta, be the alpha.

In these lunatic times, touching someone's shoulder without permission is likely to get you arrested for sexual assault.

You'll get labeled a creep if the girl isn't interested. However you'll also be labeled a creep if you ask for permission & the girl isn't interested. The best thing to do is to be fairly certain it's OK or at least make sure you know her well 1st.

Touching came up in my assessment regarding non verbal communication and navigating yourself through a crowd , I said I physically shepherded people out the way by putting my hands on people and turning them , I'm guessing as this is in my report it is not the done thing but I have never had any problems from people I've moved :roll:

I just realised this is L&D and my comment has no relevance - :oops:

Unwanted physical contact is the legal definition of "Assault"...

... unless you're the cop arresting someone for making unwanted physical contact.
