Weird coincidence..

As we all know, undeniably, a shorter man/taller woman couple is still a “unusual” thing and a subject of gossip.

I was walking down the street, and i saw a couple holding hands coming to my direction; the woman was obviously taller than the guy; and both were wearing flat shoes.
My thoughts were like “thumb up to them, not caring what the world think!”.

But while I was passing just by them; I heard her telling him literally (translated):

“Remember, I am tall!”
and she repeated it twice, “Remember, I am tall!” .

o.O. I really wanted to spy on the rest of the conversation to learn what was all this about, but it was not just possible to do so without being a nosy stalking creep.

It’s a funny coincidence that on the same time while I was thinking about their heights, they were talking something related to height!

So why would she have brought up this?
What’s your theory?

Ok so my theory#1:

Him: Baby, we should really try the cowgirl position sometimes

Her: Remember, I am tall! Remember I am tall!

In the future, you need to carry some sort of sound amplifying equipment to better eavesdrop on private conversations from a safe distance.

I think you misheard and she was saying 'remember my name's Paul'

I heard Arabic, not English - the word “tawileh” certainly doesn’t rhym with Paul!

They may have been considering some item of clothing for her - buying online for example. Tall girls often have really hard time with this, despite the fact that fashion models are tall.

Maybe he asked her to jump out of a cake at a surprise party

Just like those fake cakes on cake boss, yeah they look great but you can’t eat them.

Personally, I love tall women. I'm 5'6 and would happily "date" a woman over six feet tall. Much prefer tall to short women.

Maybe she was just reminding herself rather than telling her boyfriend? I bang my head on things so often, or duck under things that are way over my head, that I have to wonder whether my brain just doesn't have a clue how big I am.

Yeah that happens to me pretty often. Also I'm 6'3", so I'd be really impressed if I hooked up with someone taller than me. Also really weirded out because I'm used to being the tallest person in the room.
