Just to be corny I thought I'd make up a quote.

If you’ve ever thought you’re never gonna find that someone special, then this is for you.
As cliche as it is, they will really find you when you least expect it.
It happened with me, and what’s even crazier is my man also has Aspergers so we instantly get each other on that level.

On the 18th, The guy Ive been dating asked me to be his boyfriend, and I said yeah. He's so lovely, and gorgeous :D

We met through POF. He was unexpected because I was reaching a point were i think I’m not gonna gonna find someone anytime soon, so I thought I’d change it up and send messages, and he just so happened to respond to my message, and here we are now in a relationship (with PBL187) :D

You're a woman, of course you'll find someone when you least expect it. You don't carry the burden of doing all the hard work of asking men out.

The advice you'll find someone when you least expect it only applies to women and normies.

I know a male Aspie who unexpectedly hooked up with a very long heterosexual LTR. But, he was over 30.

But it does appear that you are over 30. Men are typically more attractive in their 30s versus their 20s.

I'm not "officially" diagnosed, but I know I have at least the major elements of AS. I've dated a lady for a few years who also happened to have her share of elements of AS--though likewise not "officially" diagnosed. We had a very turbulent relationship. I'm not sure if having AS and being with someone who has AS is necessarily part of a compatibility "matrix" (for the lack of a better word).

My question to you, InquisitiveJay, is how does it, or how has it worked out for the two of you?

Thats pretty good luck finding another gay aspie
