I'm curious how often this happens. I'm mostly referring to best friends that aren't married or dating but if you are, good for you :)

When I was little I was bullied pretty hard so I had a crush on like any male kid that even considered defending me. Not sure if that really counts though

I've never had any friends, so it's vacuously true that I've never been in love with my best friend.

Me & my 1st girlfriend were best friends before we got in a relationship. I never considered a relationship with her till I realized she liked me & then I realized I liked her too. We fell in love pretty fast 1ce we became a couple. We may of both been in love with each other before we became a couple but I didn't realize it or admit it to myself. I considered my 2nd & current girlfriend my best friend too but we jumped into a relationship before we were really friends.
