Open your fb messenger RIGHT NOW, and put the number of the unread messages initiated from people of the opposite sex only.

I always open messages though.

So zero.

WhatsApp seems to be the method of preferred communication these days. I don't even bother friending people on Facebook anymore. I keep it for mostly family.

Only 9/26 of my FB friends are male.

Haven't had Facebook since I was fifteen, and never will have it again. I won't sell myself to a fascist like Mr Zuckerberg - in exchange for nothing except having to put up with other people's tedious narcissism.

Zero.

Even accounting for messages beyond conversational it'd actually still be zero because I absolutely read those as soon as I'm notified.

I only have 1 single male who messages me. If its just an emoji response or a "thanks", ill leave it unread for an hour or so if im busy. If its a proper conversation ill read it asap.

Plus my bro in law's best friend will occasionally send me something funny he finds online once every 6 months.

I was in a large meetup gathering the other day, and this subject came up, we did this little experiment on the spot: all the guys except one had zero, and all women had 5-13 messages (the least had 5).

So I was wondering if this would be the same among aspies.
