Amy Schumer's husband diagnosed with ASD after their relationship began. And she loves everything about him.

I could have posted this on General Autism or New and Current Events, but I think it's more appropriate here.

I have always thought she was adorable whereas most men seem to think her highly unattractive. Is that a coincidence?

My wife has had problems with some of the traits that caused her to fall madly in love with him. The inappropriate response to her falling is dead-on, my wife and I have experienced the exact sort of thing. We should all be so lucky.

Unsolicited reflection: Yep. My NT husband said he liked that I was different. All those other women drinking beer and chit chatting. Then me: apart from the crowd, moving to the music... During our marriage vows he said he loved my honesty. Ha, ha, ha!! !

We laugh all the time about what we liked about each other, which were tips of a different iceberg. I loved that he would sit patiently and listen --- yea, so he was just warming up the car's engine. And that he was so calm = avoidance of responsibility.

What's great about our relationship is that we are equals in our way - we respect each other (even if we are not always respectful). Working on it.

I find her personality & comedy funny & cute & she has a hot body. I get why lots of guys would be turned off by her but I tend to like that stuff.

Amy Schumer is everything that I want in a woman. She's got great taste in men.

Husband: low EQ, high attractiveness

They cancel out each others deficits.

The way she looks at him is endearing, though she is not a good person.
