I have complimented a woman who works in a library. I don’t know if she is married or anything. I think she is very beautiful. I’m afraid of getting to carried away with my telling her she looks radiant. Every time I see her she politely smiles at me. She is working and I don’t want her to get in trouble or myself. I don’t know what to do now. Anyone want to weigh in here?

What does she do at the library?

She is a librarian assistant if I am not mistaken. She helped me find a few DVDs.

What did you say to her, exactly?

I told her she looks nice and then second time she looked radiant. When I said radiant she smiled, bowed and said thank you.

Is she wearing nice earrings or something? Maybe compliment her on that.

AQ-43 (32-50 indicates a strong likelihood of Asperger syndrome or autism).
EQ-14 out of 80
Rdos: Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 173 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 39 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie).

What does all of this mean?

She wears dresses and she looks so stunning. Also the way she has her hair done too. She looked so beautiful. Then again she always does.

Just start going there more often and if she asks, say that you want to start reading more.

I go there usually twice a week. Some where to hangout at before Taekwondo class and do my homework for college. Sometimes read.

It seems that your compliments have been well received rather than ignored or rebuffed. If you feel the desire to compliment her further and continue being jovial and friendly...I say go for it.

You seem to be conscientious since you're aware of the fact that she's working. Since you don't even know if she's married at this point, perhaps you can enjoy receiving a friendly smile to brighten your day until you find out if she's single.

We do give each other friendly smiles when she sees me or if she walks by me.

Does she wear a ring?

I didn’t get a good look. Also don’t some of them not wear one?

I don't think a ring is a fail safe, but I personally don't know any married or engaged women who don't wear a ring. The only time I notice if a woman is wearing a ring are fluke situations where the stone glints or something catching my attention; otherwise I don't notice such things at all. I don't think most men do. Women on the other hand seem to notice other women's rings as a matter of course.

I know I have mild Aspergers. I don’t need to have the statistics shown to me.
