There is a stereotype that women are attracted to doctors & lawyers because they are believed to usually make good money. I'm not sure how true those stereotypes are but it wouldn't surprise me that some catfish types would try to use stereotypes to their advantage. Also docs & lawyers tend to meet lots of people so I'd be suspicious as to why they'd be on dating sites.

BTW I haven't been on WP much lately for various reasons so I'm very slow at getting around to PMs. I need to just decide to read em & reply when I think I could be on my desktop computer for a while.

In my limited experience of dating apps, there's no shortage of medics, doctors, nurses, dental nurses, etc. Plus teachers, lawyers and psychologists.

I actually came across my previous physician on Tinder. No joke.

I've only ever seen one doctor on Tinder (he was a resident) and we work at the same place, and he immediately demanded nudes and to come over. Lol, yikes.

So I was talking to a doctor on OkCupid, if I really did talk to one. I think it would be exciting to talk to one. There a doctor on Facebook that is young & VERY HANDSOME :D   He always put a smile on my face.

I guess they are toooo busy to go out looking for love. I saw ALOT of doctors, lawyers & dentists on Coffee Meet Bagel, I pressed like on some of them,I guess I’m too old for them or they met someone else, bad timing.

I would be skeptical. I am sure that there are doctors on dating apps but I don't necessarily think that they would advertise in their profile. I mean if they wanted to find someone who was interested in them for who they are and not for their status as a doctor, what would they gain by mentioning it?

For medical evaluation, only.

i seen lots of people mention their occupations on dating sites or what they were currently in college for or if they were currently trying to figure things out or helping with family stuff instead of going to work or school ect. I think the women were more willing to admit low status things due to the gender social rolls with dating.
