Just like my favorite Greek Goddess Hestia (Vesta in Rome). She chose to remain umarried too! If I were alive in Ancient Rome and were female I would want to be a Vestal Virgin dedicated to serving her.

Only ten recorded 'punishments', so yeah it was probably a nice sacred position most of the time. I've been fascinated by Julian II for a while. Too bad he died young, might still be Vestals around if he had not.
