Do people here like Tinder? I never tried it.

I wanna hear some opinions too. One of the dating apps that I have yet to try but might at some point to see if things go better than they did on bumble and plenty of fish.

I see tinder as more of a hookup app than a dating app.

That's what it says in the introduction I read a day or two ago.

Not interested other than in investigating the psychology behind the situation.

But why?

Okcupid is functioning the exact same way today (swipe right and left), so why Tinder is for "hookup" while okc is for relationships?

Btw, Okc started as "for hookups" as well.

I just checked now and this is the first profile I got.

It looks "legit".

I guess it was just my own brief experience using the app in a college town. I tend to see apps like Okcupid and Tinder aimed at something more of a casual hookup/relationship than a dating site like e-harmony, where it has a more serious tone, and eventually has the relationship shift towards marriage.

In my experience, women on Tinder rarely look like their profile pictures. Some use MySpace angles, some use filters, and some downright Photoshop their pictures.

That is to be expected, in an NT universe. 8)

If Tinder really is a hookup app then I’m glad I didn’t joined, I joined Badoo. I deleted Hinge, didn’t get anyone interested in me, I’m still on Coffee Meets Bagel.

Speaking of photoshopping, I think that lady Boo posted might be photoshopped.... look at how her shoulders connect to her boobs and how her boobs connect to her ribcage. It looks odd on both ends, which makes me think those boobs are superimposed from another pic. (Unless that's just what silicone boobs look like, I would have no way of knowing).

It also seems weird to hide your face on a dating profile pic?

Frankly I think she's transexual; my instinct tells me so.
