I want to take a break, but part of me doesn’t want it. I can get confuse with myself I don’t want to be alone, I’m scared of dying alone too. I want love, I was in love for the first time with my ex-boyfriend who is my friend now. I never thought I would be friends with my ex, but I was friends with my ex-boyfriend at a workshop, our friendship didn’t last. At least my cat wants me & needs me

My concern is when I meet people I don't like or love them by default. I don't control it. So how does one go about "finding" love? For me, it just happens. And it doesn't happen right away, it happens after I've been around for a while, usually after some affectionate act toward me. Which means it's not something I look for and find.
I don't know if love is something that can be found.

May I say, that it was when I was taking a break from finding love was when I unexpectedly met my boyfriend. 6+ years later and we're still together (would have been married last year if it wasn't for the sh***y COVID). So maybe that might work for you too.

How old are you? I think taking a break is something only young people can afford to do. The older we get, the harder it gets to have any success at dating. It's already impossible for me now, but if I wait for another year or two it will be even more difficult.

I don’t think it will work for me. I think the only ways that I will meet a man is on a dating app, on WP or Instagram.

Do you have a good picture of what you want and what love means to you?
