It might be worth it for me to check out the dating scene at the two local universities when I'm ready to. I'm an alumnus of one of them.

Do people from those groups do it online? Where?

I remember in the later years all the girls in my engineering classes wanted to be friends (because I knew the material well enough to tutor), but I quickly discovered that they were never single. Most were in long-term relationships by then. It was extremely discouraging. I ran from it all not to torture myself.

My only real concern for serious dating are the potential mountains of tuition debt they might be hauling. I was very smart about taking care of mine and not living with any debt besides the mortgage.

I’m not against it….but a certain type a person might find you a little creepy for going after college girls.

Grad students?

I distinctly recall some roughly my age, sometimes older when in engineering fields when they're returning after working in the industry for some time.

Now I'm weirded out by what you thought that I thought. :?

I've been wanting to go back for years, it's just too damn expensive for me.
