1) Manage your expectations. (And work on yourself first.)
2) You should share more than surface-level interests with a prospective partner. (Importance of shared beliefs and core values.)
3) There should be a strong social connection. (Good explanation of why it's better to find partners within one's already-existing social circles, and to expand one's social circles if necessary, than to meet total strangers via dating apps.)
4) Don't change who you are just to suit someone you like. (Good explanation of why hiding one's true self is counterproductive.)
5) Take it easy. (Love can't be forced.)
