Okay, how many young men here really want to meet singles like this?

Don't you think she's going to be a rather spoiled, self-centered, high-maintainence, NPD pain in the wallet?
Advertisers recognize us as a demographic, but they still don't understand us as one.

Possible, but I'd have to meet her.

Notice how dating sites always provide attractive buxom blondes with fairly run-of-the-mill profies on the front pages of their sites...

I doubt she's actually a member, more likely a model they've pulled in from somewhere who happens to want "cuddles on a cold night or during a movie", just like every other over-attractive girl that gets posted up on these sites - it's typical dating site blurb. You'd see the same if you were to torture yourself with a Miss (insert random country) competition: i.e "I love horseriding and children and I want to work to end world poverty" - which appears to be the universal aim amongst them.

So no, I doubt she would be interested in an Aspie - I certainly doubt she'd be interested in me anyway.

I don't find her attractive. For some reason I don’t find platinum blondes attractive. I don't think her description tells be much about her, it is a bit obvious and tame. I like some quirkiness.

Quite honestly I think she is looking for you archetypal 'stud'. Someone to cuddle up with usually means someone manly, which is a common hug fantasy. I’m not sure if I’m taking it too literally or if I’m supposed to read more into it.

Wow, I didn't actually read it.

I tried to send them the link to this, but they won't even talk to me unless I sign up. Such respect for potential customers!

Yeah, it's basically a case of 'no money, no honey'.

Agreed. She looks like the fake looking girls that
hit on me when I dance. Not my type at all.

I hope people don't actually click these types of banners? Yugh.

Their marketing is piss weak if they are trying to appeal to the AS community in general.

Well obviously we are not part of the demographic they are looking for.

I guess we should take their advertising dollars and run.

Yeah, brunettes (and redheads, too, as long as "red" doesn't spill over into "day-glo ginger"... I'm shallow, I know  ) are far more attractive to me. A little uniqueness goes a long way, I think.

As for Miss Airhead there... no way is she after somebody like me. Nor would I do well with her, I imagine...

Platinum blondes are only really attractive in my books if they are dreadlocked ... or jet black with blue bits.

As for dating sites there seems to be a lack of sites aimed more towards my "geek" demographic , Ive only found one so far and its mostly americans on there.

I don't think that I've ever seen a
jet black platinum blonde. I am left
wondering if 'twas the skin, or hair
which is black. Dying seems to no longer
really maintain the term, no?
