There was a photo of me when I just turned 12 in 2001 and back then I was exceptionally good looking. Now aged 32 I am no longer good looking.

I don't get understand though you don't see people like Ryan gosling or David beckham getting ugly just because there older. I just don't see how my looks get so dramatically worse?

Before you ask yes as you know I have a history of drinking to much alcohol and my nose has been broken ALOT. I guess that could have effected my looks.

We don’t know your looks—so we can’t comment.

Really I just wish I could look as good as I did 20 years ago.

Kraftie is just being shy about asking for nudes.

Yeah... I'm the same way. Lost my good looks by mid-20s.

Did you notice that good looking male child actors often don't look good when they grow up?

In what way did you lose your good looks?

Like a 12 year old boy? I somehow think you wouldn't like it in reality.

They do say that good looks as a boy doesn't turn out that well as your face develops into a man.

By gaining and losing weight, primarily.

Though it might be said that I "aged into my looks" at times. I've been told by many people that, while I wasn't that good-looking a young man, that I would be better looking when I got older.

Yeah I think you mentioned before that losing weight did not do you any favours.

It actually paid lots of dividends, for the most part----but still not as much as I would have liked.

You're comparing yourself to celebrities. Many of them spend a lot of time and money on appearance. They get expensive haircuts, makeup and are dressed by designers. A lot of their pictures are done by professional photographers, are carefully selected and edited in photoshop/lightroom.

You would be surprised how many women dig "older-looking" people.

You might not, actually, look old at all; I don't know for sure.

I've looked at old photos of myself as a toddler and a young child and I looked so different back then I would would have no idea that it's supposed to me if my mother hadn't told me. But I haven't really done anything that would have greatly altered my appearance.

There can be only one explanation for this. I'm really a changeling. The real kid my parents had was abducted by fairies or more likely space aliens and they left me, one of their own kind, in her place. My parents either think I just changed naturally, or they've suspected all along that I'm a changeling but never told me.

I read that back in medieval times, parents would believe their child was a changeling because when their baby got older and at the stage where they normally socialize with other kids, they'd notice they acted differently or not "normal" from other kids, and it's possible that their child really was autistic or had some other disorder. But in my case it must really be because I'm a changeling and it's not just how I behaved but how I looked physically as well. In fact it explains why I don't relate well to humans in general. Because I only *look* human! :alien:

Or maybe I'm just going insane from isolation and pandemic fatigue. :?
