I realize that I'm asexual/aromantic and one reason is a friend of mine asked if I ever look at guys and maybe she was joking but it made me unconformable because I don't ever want to date anyone, I'm not attracted to anyone in a romantic or sexual way, I don't like watching romance movies too much, it makes me feel weird if I see people kissing in in public, and anything to do with romance usually makes me uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for other people having romantic partners. I just don't want myself to have anything to do with romance, sex or crushes. I now realize I identify as aromatic as well as asexual.

I still get them even though I'm (mostly) happily married, but I've been hypersexual most of my life.

Sometimes even though I am now in a relationship

It's perfectly okay if that isn't your thing @catpiecakebutter, my brother isn't interested in dating/courting, marriage, sex, children, kissing etc either!

You do you! !!

I definitely had crushes in my 20s, but not in my 50s.

I get strong crushes when I have an unfulfilled need in my life, and my subconscious seems to think the other person will meet that need. It never seems to be purely about attraction, or romance, although those feelings will get mixed up in it too.

I had my last crush in the Spring of 1994.

Not anymore, my ability to fall in love died years ago, not sure how long. Being ignored by women my entire life killed it. I don't blame them for it though, my issues are not their fault.

I suppose I have a crush on my bf since our relationship is fairly new and I think he's pretty great, but I usually think of crushes as an irrational and turbulent pining for someone you barely know that you have for some reason fixated on, and I haven't had one of those in many years.

If you are asexual/aromantic consider yourself lucky! Live would be so much easier if one never cared about such things. Yes, I still get crushes also.

I'm hypersexual so I still get them.

Not for a few years. I think I've mostly turned asexual due to trauma from narcissists/sociopaths, so I cant really trust enough to get close to anyone anymore. All perceived attraction women give me I completely ignore now because I dont trust my own judgement, even if it seems obvious they might be into me, I'm no longer risking my well being on uncertainty.

I never get crushes, per se.

I fall for someone, but I fall hard, and end up in a deep depression if a relationship doesn't materialize.
