I feel like not bothering with dating

I don't feel 100% actually entirely giving up with dating but I do feel because of my age that my pool of people is shrinking because feel like people by their 30s have more responsibilities like work and kids and I seem to think I wasted a lot of the 20s not actively dating because I was never into going to clubs, partying, drinking etc and spent weekends at home. I seem to the shrinking numbers are making me more upset, anxious that time is running out and thinking that people will start losing their attraction to me because I mean I don't seem to see a lot of young women being attracted to much older guys. It sounds ridiculous but that's how it feels. Despite these thoughts I'm struggling to act on them and get myself on an app and end sometimes forgetting about it because I'm doing other stuff.

Dating definitely feels different in 30s and 40s, but love is so fickle, there are still plenty of women every day who are leaving relationships, getting divorced, etc.
A lot of them do have kids, but not all; birth rates have been dropping dramatically lately. More and more people are choosing to be childless.

It is ok to give up.

If I never got married, I would have also given up dating and spent my life hunting UFOs, would have applied for a green card and bought a block of land near Area 51 or in Nevada or Skinwalker ranch in Utah.
