There is a gas station in the middle of my town that I've been a patron of for years. The owners daughter works there, and they are really nice people. She is a nice girl, and very beautiful. Looks wise she is perfect. She is also a nice girl. I discovered that I'm attracted to her recently. Today I filled my vehicle up. I normally I get siezed by terror, and turn into Rainman when it comes to girls, or seem creepy. I think. Today I was focused on my getting gas, and getting dinner afterwards. I managed without stupidity to tell her I like her hair, and it's cool. She has her hair streaked with blood red, and it's a nice pattern, and her hair is beautiful any how. WOW! How do I talk to her without seeming creepy, jerk, idiotic, or showing her I'm into her before I get to know her? I don't have an issue of showing it with my body language, unless she's Autistic. Please help me WP ladies. I'm a nice guy, and nice guys seem to finish last. I hope that this time a nice guy don't finish last.

The big question.

If you're like me,
even knowing the how
ain't enough. Because
the how looks like an
ass to you, and you
wouldn't risk that.

How did she react to the compliment?

She said thank you. She smiled, and said it in a tone of voice that I've learned goes with being flattered.

Okay, that's good. Not very telling though... I'd react like that if the elephant man complimented me.

I'm no expert here, but my idea is that you should go prepared with a couple interesting tidbits of information to talk about, every time you're there. That way you don't have to think of something clever on the spot. Find out what she's interested in, if possible. As in, which subjects and activities. Just make yourself seen and heard, then gauge her reaction and adjust your approach as necessary, over time.

And, if at all possible, try to relax a little bit! :D
