I was outside with Chloe, my parrot

Image

just now, and starting to take her back inside, when this cute girl came out of nowhere and said "Hi", and asked if she could say hello to my bird. I said yes, and I handed Chloe to her. Now, Chloe is VERY tempermental, even though she's got a very sweet personality once she's comfortable with someone. She's bitten all of my friends, when they were just saying hi to her. But this girl was able to handle Chloe easily, and made her step-up from hand to hand. I told her she's the best person so far with Chloe besides me. She said, two different times, "I love birds." Then, she called her cute friend over, and they were both saying hi to me and Chloe. They apparently live nextdoor, and seem to be both about 24. (I'm 28.)

As an Aspie myself, I couldn't tell at the time that this girl's repeated "I love birds" statement may have actually been flirting with me, until after I went inside and thought about it for a minute. Maybe, maybe not, but either way,
1) I'm not looking for a girlfriend, and
2) I'm not looking for a girlfriend with a "Hooters" t-shirt, which this girl was wearing.
So, my glass is half full. I got the alleged flirting for free, and can go on my merry way, single and happily so. :)

But the point I'm trying to make here is that this girl was quite clearly an NT, yet, as never happens, she approached me, an Aspie with nightmarish body language.

So, to all Aspie guys out there: your best chance with NT girls is when they catch you in one of your areas of expertise -- in other words, when you briefly appear to be NT yourself. When this girl happened to first glance at me and Chloe was when I was holding her up and letting her flap her wings wildly. So, the girl just happened to look over during a Kodak moment, and decided to investigate. One can't easily set up such moments with forethought, so, rather, when they naturally occur, I recommend just rolling with the initial positive impression you've inadvertently made, and trying to carry it off with your best acting skills. As if you're just "Mr. Kodak Moment". 'Cause, I mean, what's courtship without acting?

Nice story.
I'll have to think about this one a bit before I write more :D

Yeah, I'd pretty much stay away from young ladies (or especially old ones) who wear Hooters shirt also.
A little too 'out-going' for my comfort... as in, I don't think I could keep up! :P

I think the lesson we can learn from this is that pets get babes.

It's likely that she has other shirts. She may even wear a different shirt tomorrow.

I don't know. Sometimes, women wear stuff
like that as a statement. My wife had a "bimbo"
t-shirt, for example.

This is quite true. Although, the last time a pet of mine got a couple of babes, they were like 16 yrs old, never greeted me directly, and looked only at my new puppy while petting it, swooning over it, and barking questions at me faster than any human being could answer, let alone an Aspie trying to keep up with TWO blabbering NTs!

But today's pair of babes was older, and more mature in manners. They made lots of eye contact with me, seemed more interested in me than the pet, actually said "Hi" when approaching, introduced themselves, and when leaving said "Nice to meet you!"

Those shirts are very cool.

Well, I'm not branding her a slut or anything, I'm just not into girls who make such "statements" by wearing clothes with such permiscuous messages printed on them. She was very outgoing, courageous (for approaching me), and friendly, but if I was looking for a girl, I'd pick a moral, spiritual one. Ya know, an Ann Coulter type. A girl's looks or friendliness will not persuade me to date her. She has to be avidly Christian, and THEN I'll consider the looks and friendliness. I look for all three of those qualities, but "avidly Christian" would have to be there before I'd consider her. If not, she's just another worldling who wants to use me. How annoying, and insulting! I've already been down that road with my ex-wife. Turns out she wasn't Christian -- just a faker. She openly rejected Christ to me after we divorced.

So, I've had great and frequent sex with a worldling, and it's ultimately a pointless experience, at best, because she can't connect with me on a spiritual level, and finally ends up hating me for being a Christian.

You're probably right that the demure Christian
that you're interested in WOULDN'T be so
rebellious as to wear such a thing simply for
the irony. They tend to be pretty conformist.
Still, things are changing, and I wouldn't
be entirely shocked to see it.

But again, I'm not even taking applications. Not even from demure Christians.
