this could be part of the problem.

In general, women want a guy who wants them. . . It's not that there's nothing else to it, but that tends to be an essential piece. We don't want a guy who puts up with us because he isn't fussy.

If a guy happens to be open-minded, that's one thing. . . but "not fussy. . " going in like that is likely to make a girl feel you think she's second rate.

So, pray tell. . . what have you already tried?

I feel for the OP. I really do. I'm sick of choking the chicken to the same pornography over and over again. I'd really like a girlfriend too.

I don't think this will help your case a lot. I mean, nobody likes being called a resource I think, even if it is clear you're not being serious. And I would also refrain from talking about pornography.

That said, I am on the outlook myself so I am not a specialist by any means. So guess you can ignore my advice.

But porn is ersatz. It can never even come close to holding someone in your arms that you really love. I cannot understand how people mention porn in topics that are about love ; there is a very wide gap between porn/sex and love.

Scarce - not easily available. There are lots of women out there but as I have said before asking one out is about as easy as working out SQRT(PI) in Roman numerals.

XX - Females of the species have two X chromasomes, males of the species have one X and one Y chromasome. Once in a while you will find a man with one X and two Y chromasomes, theories say that sometimes this turns the into criminals.
