hey i am a sweet girl who's looking a boyfriend near or in my area. I am tired of long distant relationships. i try not to judge others and am looking for a sweet guy who shares some of my interests. if you have any questions feel free to ask me. i'll talk bout almost anything.

I think (hint to the board management) that a subforum for dating requests would be a good idea. Every member wanting to start a topic could start one (one per member) and that would be easier than topics scattered around the "love and dating subforum". I would propose a seperate forum where members can open a topic about themselves. Wolfgurl is not the first person starting a topic about this and in the "aspie single list" lot of people reacted as well, so there is clearly an interest in a subforum where dating requests could be put.

Just a suggestion to the forum management.

Im with you Wolfgurl. I too am sick of the long-distance thing and want something local as well. Its Soooooooo0 hard though with online dating!! All of the local online dating sites have pretty much turned up nothin' for me. I wonder if its something to do with where I live. I guess PDX isnt so great for single men who are introverted and not barflies. Seems like most men my age who live here arent single and moved here with their Signifigant Other. Maybe I just have to be patient....who know.

Count yourself lucky that most of the comments here are reasonable.

I was once signed up for an on-line dating site where you could post short descriptions of yourself hoping that someone would be interested. One girl in Japan posted but unfortunately her English was not so good.
