Reasons to date an engineer:

-Electrical engineers know how much resistance to use.
-Software engineers can hack into the mainframe.
-Hardware engineers can use their hardware and are skilled with hard drives.
-Archeological engineers know how to dig in.
-Chemical engineers are hotter than bunsen burners set to full power.
-Mechanical engineers have large monkey wrenches and drill bits.
-Automotive engineers are adept with a crankshaft.
-Aeronautical engineers know how much lift to use.
-Civil engineers can build it up in no time, or can take as long as you want them to.
-Plastic engineers work with some of the hardest stuff on the planet.
-Manufacturing engineers just keep cranking it out.

Okay, so I was reaching for some of those, but post any other ones you have/can come up with...

My dad is a retired Electrical Engineer from Hewlett Packard, Company and I just know that Engineers simply think differently
than the rest of us in the world.

One evening when an end table lamp in our family room did not work, my dad pulled the entire lamp apart and tried to determine where the broken wire was in the lamp. Finally, as his frustration grew, he gave up and suddenly realized all the lamp
needed was a new light bulb!

Hmm... I never made one for IT students, but then again, they don't have "engineer" in the title...
