I can assure there are people like this out there that must have had this once.
Ok youve had this freind and You two are really good freinds and just taking life as it comes with its ups and downs but when it comes to realeationships you will always be seen by the women as the fit blokes best mate and no matter how much you put yourself out there the girl will eventually bring up the subject in your conversation "whos your freind?" or "Whos he!?" or something along those lines honestly you feel like the body guard of a celebrity with mad fans trying to talk to him but have to go through you first.
You feel you should be walking round with a tape of numbers every 10 minutes you shout out a number and a girl holding that number ticket will step up to talk to your freind...their is a whole line of these girls! and you will be sat next to your mate and watching as he somehow manages all of these social cues and everything in an instant its only 10 minutes later that you shout NEXT!! and the next girl shows up to talk to him and do whatever people do that i cant!
Oh well its either bad karma in a past life or just pure unluckyness a life of being alone is just around the corner my freinds and the only thing you need in this life my freinds is a noose and a chair and a strong ceiling! But hey Look on the bright side at least you still have your wonderful personality!! ! 
...hmm to bad no one will ever take the time to notice there all focused on your friend!

...hmm to bad no one will ever take the time to notice there all focused on your friend!that's called being a 'wingman'. The idea is that it is supposed to be a mutual thing between friends; you are for them and they are for you in that capacity. If you are not getting this other dude to be your ticket taker when the girls want to know about you then it is not a give and take relationship, it is only a give relationship. I would find out if the dude you are being a social secretary for has any other reasons for you hanging around .
