Possible autistic crush

Should I ask a potential crush if she has autism? I think she does.

I know this girl at my school. I've heard from somebody that she's autistic and I have heard at least one other person describe her as "spacy." I thought about her and it all seems to add up. Should I ask her? I don't think so, but if I should, then tell me why or why not.

I was recently in a similar position. I went with don't bring it up ever, because frankly, if you are wrong, I can't see any way recovering from that. I would ask only after she says "I am autistic. Do you want to ask me if I am autistic?" <3

Do you get to talk with her much? You could just talk a bit about your own autism, if you're comfortable doing that. I don't think I'd recommend doing such a thing if it isn't already general knowledge though.

I would ask her if she's autie, the NT's don't know what that means. If she is autie, then she won't care that you asked. IF she is NT, she will probebly freak thinking you think something is wrong with her. if shes autie, she will know she is different, but will not care. She might not even realize that you like her. For me, a man would almost have to hit me upside the head with a 2 by 4, before I would get that he liked me. I would address her by her first name, make sure she sees you, and just tell her that you like her as more than a friend. YOu might touch her hand to get her attention.
