How many of you guys had a gf when you were 27 or younger? Right now I´m 27 and I have always been single. I kinda got the feeling that the older I get, the more the aviable girls find it weird and scary that I´ve always been single. This makes me feel like time is running out for me.

Here's how I'd look at it: what you have or haven't done in your life is nobody's business. If your 27 and haven't been in a relationship in your life (I'm not far from it myself), I don't think it matters so much especially as you hit your late 20's because people seem to far less often have the audacity to ask questions like that and a woman, as opposed to a girl, will care more about who you are right then and there rather than who you were or where you have or haven't been. That said the best thing you and I can do, being our situations aren't that dissimilar, is just do all we can to improve ourselves in terms of how we feel and what we project, do what we can to make ourselves more desirable (from where we feel like we're on higher ground at least), and just roll with it that way - that and I really don't recommend volunteering any information like that and especially not talking about insecurities, people really do tend to be real Nietzian/Machiavellian about that sort of thing.

I feel the same way even though I'm 24 and have had one gf.

well it all depends on how that works. I'd had about a dozen women altogether from 15-40. Some were just a couple of dates, 2 I married...;)

One thing about romantic relationships is comfort. Take it easy, casual, and see what happens from there. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. The first date is the hardest, so once you're past that, it can be easier.

I got my first girlfriend when I was 17. I got my second one at 23.

I turn 28 tomorrow, and I am currently single.

Tim

I've allways been single too, and I do worry that getting to almost 29 with out a gf is odd.

I know these are quite a silly questions:

How do you get a date? What defines a date?

I´m completely lost when it comes to dating and love. Actually I have a couple of female friends - but they are just friends.

I'm about to turn 27 and I'm in the same boat.

Sometimes I wish that something would run me over while I'm crossing the street.

Things are looking up; I'm weight training and making noticeable progress. Maybe you should do the same.

As long as you enjoy the weight training its a great idea. Though on the other side you do have to be careful with that incoming attention - a lot of times the same girls who avoid aspie guys are the same sorts of sadistic psychological bullies who would make their lives hell if they got close enough, that's one reason why you still want to be careful about how you have your superficial attractiveness geared.

Happy Birthday, Tim!

I think that age is much more of a worry to women, as many will talk about their "biological clocks" ticking.

For us, it is much less of a worry. But, still, I can appreciate the concern.

It is just a matter of deciding exactly what it is you want to do, and then going out and doing it.

Weight traning? I´m not sure what that means but if my assumption is correct it is about loosing weight. Well, I´m not overweight at all. Even though I have gained a few pound in the last month. But that´s due to an injury that made me unable to exercise for some weeks.
But thanks for the tip

I think that he means lifting weights to build up muscles.
