So I was wondering who else had this problem. Earlier this year I got stood up by a woman I grew fond of. That isn't the point of this thread so I call a few times during the day we were supposed to eat out nor response, a day later I call to see what happened no response.

after that I was kind of moody for the next few days, I was actually enjoying having my "schedule" broken up if it meant spending time with her. So both of my parents for the next 3 days keep asking "Are you alright?" while I appreciated the concern it was getting annoying I need some space to sort things out not someone to commiserate with. So here’s my question does anyone else have this kind of issue or does it happen to NT’s just as much as Aspies?

Ok, since I am NT I am about to kill your thread, but, yes, families do this to us as well. It sucks. I just want to scream at them to shut up and mind their business.

I guess some NT families tell all, but I am private and don’t like to bad mouth a relationship, and if it is over I am over it so…shut up. I will tell someone what they need to know, but please stop hounding me with questions and if you think I am not alright than distract me from my doom and gloom and remind me there is another world out there beside him, but leave me alone.

My response now? “what, is something wrong, what should I know abou,t are you ok…” I turn panic on them so they shut up.
