Back in high school, over 7 years ago, that's what I overheard some girl tell another girl who was checking me out while I was in the hallway, a few feet away from them. How do you guys think I felt???

If I overhear that kind of comment directed towards me, I just go "Yes, I'm ****ing insane. Thanks for noticing."

That usually shuts them up...

I like saying this about myself in the 3rd person before anyone gets a chance to say it.

If they can find the humor in it, great... if not... well it takes the edge off of the insult if someone else says it.

I've never actually heard someone say something like that about me, but I am absolutely certain that several girls have been told that I am weird or crazy when they've shown interest in me in the past.

It's high school. Comments like that are an everyday event, even popular kids get talked about. I wouldn't waste time thinking about it.

Sounds like the girl that said you suck had a crush on you and didn’t want her friend to know. Also, NTs don’t like losing their friend for a guy. Sabotage.

It appears these girls were battling over you and both lost because neither one of them had you.

Might I suggest going to your school reunion and find both of them and do them together (am I getting kicked out of here…wrong forum) and telling them they MUST suck…
