Must read. Theory of loneliness
Before I go on in detail. Lets say, you own some workhorses and by whipping them they work harder. The tougher they are the harder they can be whipped. The owner of the workhorses realise that the horses respond positively to whipping them. If the horses responded by slowing down, the owner would not whip the horses.
Loneliness is supposed to be a motive to find a relationship and possibly have children. I know this for a fact because I would not with relationships if it was not for the fear of loneliness. I am like the workhorse that responds to well to whipping. I have been whipped to the point of insanity.
My theory that if I stop responding positively to loneliness by going out, trying to give a good NT impression, dieting and spend non-productive time and money on computer instead. This would be like the horse that responds negatively by being whipped by slowing down. The owner my try whipping harder initially to get the horse mothing, but eventually would give up. The same logic applies to loneliness.
Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing lately. Some people are like this, and some people are not. Being lonely is definitely good motivation to make someone diet, exercise, and get healthy for some people. It is the same in other areas of life also. Getting paid less than you are worth or being treated poorly at work is good motivation for some people to leave the companies they work for and to start their own successful businesses.
