...meeting somebody like this:

A female (formally disgnosed aspie or no, I really dont give a crap as long as she won't lie to me) who:

--likes the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Mythbusters, Monk, Star Trek, and/or any Law & Order series

--lives within 50 miles of NYC and not on Long Island (I live in the greater NYC area) or is willing to relocate to such an area

--has at least a High School Diploma

--makes more than $0 a year or is pursuing a college degree at this time... Also, people who put in volunteer time in whatever volunteer organization (community or religious) are acceptable...

--isn't an overt athiest (by overt I mean the type of athiest that goes around trying to "convert" people away from any organized religion just because it happens to be religion... agnostic is still ok)

--thinks George W Bush is an idiot (other than that, I don't care about political leanings... if we dont agree on issues we just won't talk about them)

--weighs less than 260 lbs (which is about what I weigh)

--isn't already taken

I'd say your odds are pretty good. Your expectations are pretty realistic, so that helps.
I used to live in Connecticut, and since CT is fairly close to New York City, I visited it quite frequently with my family. My older sister fits your discription very well, but we've moved since. But I still keep in contact with several college age friends who have recently moved to New York and fit your description exactly. So they are out there.
Good luck!

How about the Golden Ratio...

If not that, the ratio of marrying a cat lady is pretty good... shoot for that one in 25 years.

Odds, the cornerstone of every successful relationship... I think I'm going to get married in Vegas now...

I was really doing this as a parody of Tim's thread, but thanks anyway...

I also have the one completely unrealistic expectation I didn't mention... http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt56910.html

Also, the item "isn't taken" is VERY unrealistic, since "single woman" is an oxymoron...

at least you are a little more accepting than Tim! It's not like you are really hung up on looks your just looking for someone that sees things the way that you do. I think this is a good thing. That I gotta have you attraction fades and then you need to have things in common to fall back on. I think to make a relationship work a person has to fall over and over in love with the same person.

Well, you had to expect that WP people would take things literally. :)

You forgot to state what type of vagina you're looking for.

Except I dont get those "I gotta have you attractions". Read my other thread (I know, the number of times I've linked to it you could say I'm advertising it, but it just explains so much about me, and I don't want to repeat that entire spiel over and over again...)

Preferably one that doesn't taste like seafood... I hate seafood...
