holiday date - please advise

I wonder if I could ask for tips on where to go for St. Patrick's Day with an Aspie? My situation is I have a date on that day, we're both aspies, and an Irish pub was mentioned by my gentleman friend as a possible place to go. Does that sound like it would be very crowded, and/or noisy? We both have low-key personalities, and are still somewhat nervous around each other, and while the pub sounds like fun, I feel like something on the quiet side would be a more appropriate setting for both of us. At teh same time, I don't want to step on his toes. Does anyone have any ideas on where a good place to go would be?

My guess is the Irish bar is b/c its ST. Pats day but if you and your date talk about it I imagine you can come up with something you both like. And most pubs would probably be loud and noisy especially on ST. Pats day but I'm sure there are some that aren't. Just b/c it is a holiday doesn't mean anything necessarily you could just pretend it's just another day b/c its not like valentines or Christmas or their b-day so just make sure you have fun thats what matters it's what the date is for.

Any kind of bar on St. Patrick's Day will be more loud and crowded than the Superbowl! Instead try a mid-priced restaurant that doesn't serve liquor or a coffeeshop.

Ya I cant say a bar or pub is any fun at all during St Patrics day its super loud and crowded, and filled with many stupid drunks who run into ya, talk to loud to ya and at least made me feel like I would rather be home.

Talked to my date today, kinda briefly, and he said he has his mind and/or stomach set on going to Kildare's on Monday. This'll be really interesting; I have no idea what to talk about in case of an hour or so wait just to sit down.
