I had this strange dream last night where I ended up kissing some random woman... the face had no resemblance to anyone I knew, and my "dream-sense" (which basically causes dream elements to make me think of people or things in the real world) didn't connect her to anyone I knew either...

The strange and unusual part isn't the random woman... but the fact that the kiss felt so real... usually, I'm incorporeal in my dreams, and can't "feel" anything physically... the normal way I would end up kissing a woman while dreaming would be seeing her face and the aforementioned "dream-sense" would tell me that I am engaging in the act (sort of like a text RPG)...

I almost felt that I wasn't dreaming at all (usually I have some semi-awareness in dreams, but not enough to assert control or wake up)...

Then my dad woke me up... I damn near yelled at him...

I once had a realistic-feeling dream kiss, but it was oddly from a 3rd person perspective, like most of my dreams. Probably just a reminder from my subconscious of how TV will always undermine my ability to actually do anything with real humans.

I have weird dreams too. Random fact: every person in every dream you have is someone you have seen before. you may not remember them but your brain does. So she could be a store clerk from when you were five, or a random woman you once saw on the street.

That really freaks me out in a way I didn't think possible... Of course now, an extra night later, I can't even remember what the face looked like (I don't usually remember visual details in dreams, only major events), so perhaps it wasn't all that important... just the brain putting a random face on a woman for my viewing pleasure...

I have them all the time, There either extremely sexual, or just off the wall random as hell.

Tonight I had a dream, that it was 06:15. Not much of a dream? It was written with green LCD. That was the dream. The whole dream.

Otherwise, I often dream that I'm playing a videogame.

Sexual dreams are rare, but occur.

wait until you get a 'looping' dream.

ho boy those are a trip.

Here's how it goes:

You're sleeping. you wake up. You're in your bed. You take off your bedsheets and stand up.

Only there is no floor and you fall and feel the vertigo of falling from great height.

The surprise wakes you up. You're in your bed. You think 'wow that was weird'. You take off your bedsheets and stand up.

Only there is no floor and you fall and feel the vertigo of falling from great height.

The surprise wakes you up. You're in your bed. You're really freaked out now. . You take off your bedsheets and look at the floor from the top of your bed. The floor is still there. You convince yourself the floor is ok. You very carefully put one foot on the floor. Test its 'solidity'. It passes the test. You put the 2nd foot down. Its solid. You push yourself off the bed.

Only there is no floor and you fall and feel the vertigo of falling from great height.

You wake up....

How on earth would one demonstrate this?

I had a similar situation once. In most of my dreams I don't really feel anything physically. I dreamed a guy was embracing me. I could actually feel his arms around me and then that cold wet kiss on my forehead. That's all my dream got to after being awakened by my alarm clock. I don't remember what his face looked like. But I couldn't stop thinking about him for days. It was like the figment of my dream became real. Didn't have anymore dreams after that. :(

Why don't I get to have fun dreams like that? My dreams are much more abstract and... celibate. I have had a "looping dream" though.

Most of mine are as well... it was just that one dream that was an exception... which is why I called it a "weird dream"...
