Date outside your race/ethnicity?

I realize that this is controversial question, but then again, a message board is supposed to be about discussion of such topics. Post your replies.

Why not? All the parts are exactly the same....

The only group I can't seem to picture myself going out with is blacks. I could care less if other people do, but I don't feel any attraction to them even though some of them can be cool. If I were to pick someone outside my race, I'd probably go for a Mexican girl.

I'm usually not attracted to people outside of my race but I wouldn't rule it out.

I don't see why race is ever an issue. People are people. Period.

Quite truthfully the first thing I said in my mind when I read this thread's title was "of course". I often don't even notice that someone is of a different race, I would notice it in obvious cases like a Norwegian standing beside an Ethiopian, but something along the lines of a Latino beside a person of Europian descent I probably wouldn't notice any difference unless I really tried.

Though that might just be because I don't look at people when I talk to them!

I find some races more physically attractive than other races.

Most of us Aspergians really can't afford to very picky anyway.

I'm NOT RACIST AT ALL (in fact, I'm an anti-racist activist), but I would only go out seriously with an Asian guy, because I am very cultural. I also find some Black guys attractive.

I would if there were more people in the area of another race who did not treat me like s**t or really piss me off. It would be most likely that is I was to go out with someone of another race, it would be someone from the subcontinent. I find people from the Indian subcontinent kind of attractive.... Or a Hispanic person.....

I'm not usually attracted to black women. Nothing against them, but if I'm not attracted to them, I'm not attracted to them.

Saying that it's racist to care about what race your partner is,-that's just like saying that it's sexist/homophobic/heterophobic to care about what sex your partner is.

What skin colour the person has is no worse than only being attracted to blondes, brunettes etc. It's only racist if you have something personal against them because of their race.

So don't be afraid to admit it if you're not attracted to a certain race. It's perfectly normal.

I would date any race. I find women of all ethnicities beautiful.
