I don't think our dreams are that different than those of male NTs.

I really don't think so either. I dream about friends and s** and cars, money, food, family get togethers, and all sorts of thing you know? Maybe if you ask him what he dreams about he'll tell you b/c if you don't ask he may not know you want to know also it may be embarrassing.

Yesterday I had a dream that I actually remembered for a change. I had been framed by a Government Conspiracy and for some reason had to blow open a huge Water Dept door early in the morning so no one would get hurt. My friend with the Government got me a detonator and PETN and the detonator failed, so as I was waking up I was kicking myself in the butt for not going to Zack Electronics and designing my own detonator circuit for reliability. Quite wierd, I must have been reading too many Kyle Mills books lately. :oops:

Well, I dream of many things. But most of my dreams have to do with war;
cities burning, armies clashing amidst the ruins, etc. I like them. These war dreams have been the source of many a story I have thought of and give me ideas on how to expand the background of the universe I have made.

Though if I told any of my family that the majority of my dreams were of war related things and that I liked them, I'd probably be seing "help."

Though I have these sorts of dreams, I do not like actual war. The dreams I have take place in a sci-fi setting and play out like some sort of war movie.

And I have a question: Why is this in the Love and Dating forum?

Quote:
few dreams or fantasies due to restricted imagination; and concrete, realistic, logical thinking, often to the exclusion of emotional responses to problems. Those who have alexithymia also report very logical and realistic dreams, such as going to the store or eating a meal. Clinical experience suggests it is the structural features of dreams more than the ability to recall them that best characterizes alexithymia.

Alexithymia is very common in people with AS.

Perhaps so, but not I :D . I suppose I dream about many of the same things that everyone else dreams about. For years I had a lot of anxiety dreams, I have sad dreams sometimes too(but not often). Anger and Fear are the most common feelings
in my dreams. But a lot of my dreams are just downright weird. I tend to have repetative dreams with a recurring theme like floating in the air and defying gravity, or riding in the backseat of a car thats driving itself. I had a dream where I went into a house and there were all these secret passageways and hidden rooms and in the living room there was furniture and a door on the ceiling! 8O Even more curiously, for years Ive dreamt of seeing UFOs and other strange phenomena in the sky :alien: and dreams where its snowing in august or broad daylight at 1AM(Which NEVER happens here in Portland,OR or back in my hometown of Seattle)....... :drunken:
