Hi. I'm in trouble. I love my friend but he is straight. I want him to love me like I love him but I know he never will. It's depressing.

unfortunately, that's the oldest story in the book... it happens to most people at some point in their lives. i know it's not what you want to hear but your only option is to look for someone else.

That's true. My brain says there are plenty of fish in the sea, but my heart can't stop thinking about him.

You can have a platonic relationship, as long as you don't express why you think another person's sexual orientation is wrong.

Why would I tell him his sexual orientation is wrong? I'm told that all the time! I wouldn't put him through that.

Gay people mistake their acquaintances for straight people, and straight people mistake their acquaintances for gay people. It all depends on what they think. As long as you love a certain man, and you are happy with your life, that's what counts.

In my book, people are straight until proven gay.

It depends on a certain person's preference, though.

I should also mention that the young man I am in love with has NLD. I feel like he understands me better than anyone else except perhaps for my parents. I thought he might be bisexual because when he was younger he says he was interested in boys for a brief period. So I thought maybe he'd be open to giving me a chance but he seems to only like girls now.

So, do any of you have boyfriends or girlfriends with ASD?

That's the kind of thinking that bothers me. People assume everyone is straight, thus making it even harder for those who aren't to be honest about themselves. My parents, friends, teachers and everyone else assumed I was striaght, even though I had never said so. Straight people never have to go through such inner suffering just to tell people of their sexual orientation. Gay people like me go through it every day.

Yes you did. God gave you to your sin for not listening to him and now you do not see error in the lifestyle you are living.

and god told you not to judge but that's not stopped you from doing it.

So I suppose you chose to be striaght, did you, "cool dude"? Don't preach to me. I love David and I always will love him. Falling in love with someone is not shameful. My so-called lifestyle is only an unhappy one because of self-righous Jesus Freaks such as yourself. You preach from your little book and spread unhappiness everywhere! Leave people alone!! !

Oh, and another thing. Did you choose to have Aspergers? People judge you for that don't they? You probably know that it hurts so don't do it to me.
