Right then, if anyone remembers me, I'm currently trying to nab my dream girl.
But just as a recap:
1) We AIM every night.
2) We go swing dancing every Thursday Night.
3) We're perfect together.
4) She's bi.
Number 4 is where I need your help. In one of our more recent and delightful conversations, she confided to me that it has been so long since she's had an actual crush on a guy that she's starting to wonder farther down lesbo lane (respectfully, but still bitterly). It may be my Asperger's obstinance talking, but I implored her to give the literal mankind another chance. She's just too good and sweet and intelligent and hot of a person for me to watch give up on even considering men for all time.
So fortunately, she said, and I quote, "Perhaps you can convince me." And if that isn't huge hint, I don't know what is. Actually, the reason I'm not asking my therapist is that they'd agree with me: according to the medical community, I am medically prone to misinterpretting social cues. But AS aside, I am not going to let this opening go unnoticed.
If you would please lend me your vast mental strength -- as we are arguably the brightest of the race of men (pun intended, but not limiting to just men) -- to come up with a list of reasons why men are more attractive than women.
And if women beat men on this one, then I'm going to lose my faith in the internet. Come on guys, we own the internet, we should know why women potentially want us.
And women, you hopefully know why men are attractive. For my selfish goals, please just say something to help me out.
PS. Just to defend myself against the pole, this is all aspie related, because it has to do with not being able to interpret social cues and because I have AS. And not only is this for my own benefit, I think every forum needs to have a good old gender war every now and then.)
A simple reason:
people are normally attracted to the opposite sex because they want what they do not have.
That is...we men like soft skin and curves and boobs, etc, because we don't have them (if we did, we would stay home and play with ourselves 24/7) . People are bi for 2 reasons:
1. They are cross wired to appeal to either sex equally (like being ambidextrous).
2. They don't know what they like, they just know they have a need and what is the easiest way to fulfill that need (think male convicts sexing each other- they are not gay, but there is little choice.).
Her telling you to "convince her" is all the invite you should need. She is making it clear she wants to at least give you a try. So dont overthink it. Just do.
Good luck and give us an update. K?

Thank you Lannesman, and thank you further for agreeing with how I perceived that bit.
PS: 72 of you have seen this, 6 people have voted, and 1 person has commented. Come on people: I'm not asking for a work of art, or anything too overly thought out. Just tell me why you think your gender is attractive! If you can't do that, well then... I'll have to take this to 4chan or something. Actually, looking at the alternatives, I guess I can just beg that you put something down.

oh, I keep forgetting, no one wants to hear my actual experiences, as most of you will never be in the same situations that I have found myself.
As for this forced 'battle of the sexes' pleading with some one on the gender attraction spectrum to not 'wander further down lesbo lane' (as it was so charmingly called ) sounds like you just don't understand women at all, not just THIS woman.

I'd wonder if maybe she's either just a lesbian or has trust issues with men.
I don't know if that's Aspergers or Asspergers talking. This quote just doesn't make since to me. You requested this from her? I don't know your whole story but usually a person just asks another out if they're interested in them. Maybe this actually is AS I don't know. You claim she's bisexual but in your imploring statement that would be like me trying to get gay guy straight. Yes I'm a female but I can sort of relate to this.
Intelligent or just plain hot?
Sorry if that comes off blunt but why would that exactly be a waste unless you're planning to have kids with her b/c of her fine genetics? Maybe you like the idea of a challenge? Maybe you really think you are in love with her, although it doesn't sound like you really know her that well to actually be in love. BTW, I don't know if you knew this but there's plenty of hot girls out there that haven't given up on men.
Damn this AS I can't tell if that is a cue or a real statement. If it is a real statement then I would question if she really is bisexual.
Again I'm not trying to come off as sarcastic but just like NTs, don't you think that might be wishful thinking? Regardless of gender, I think most of us want what we can't have or think we can't have.
Well we wouldn't want that to happen now would we? Except what does the internet have to do with women?
Oh, there's the reason, but what rule says men own the internet? Unless you're attracted to guys, you're probably not going have a clear answere for that. No pun intended. Attraction to the same, opposite or both sex is something that can't always be explained. Unless you're talking about your emotional characteristics or comparing umm........
I just did although it's a little contrary to your earlier statement. I would hate to see you distrust the internet if we do beat mankind.
I'm still a little confused as to what the war is about, that men are more attractive than women?
As for gender wars, General Gender Wars, you'll get a good number of them here espeacially under this Love and Dating forum.
