I just noticed that it's February - that time of year again. The time that makes me feel sorry for myself.

I'll be spending Valentine's day with this hunk.

if it makes you feel better I am in a relationship and I am still anti-Valentines day.

it is just an excuse for girls to get presents. pretty much nothing else.

All my friends got their first girlfriends all in the past 3 months or so (since October anyway)... this 2/14 is going to be particularly brutal, although saving grace comes from it being on saturday so at least I don't have to deal with the people at school...

I don't think it'll ever be much worse than it was on V-Day 08. I got moved away from the girl I liked in class and I was so attached to her that I almost cried. Had to try REALLY hard not to. That was the only time I could talk to her as much as I wanted and it definitely made everything worse from then on. I told her I did that the next day and then I made the idiotic mistake of telling her I loved her.

I wonder if she'll remember it on that day this year.

V-Day sucks. It's just a way to make single people feel bad!

I've only ever had one Valentine's Day card in my life, which was one year when a male friend and I exchanged cards cos we knew we weren't gonna be getting any others, LOL.

It's annoying when the popular girls are boasting that they got about 15 cards. Wow, what dya want, a medal? :roll:

Correct. It's just an excuse for people who make chocolate, jewelry, idiotic cards, and other worthless stuff to make money off of couples.

The woman I had been interested in for almost two years had found someone else, so like a lot of people, I will have a very gut-wrenching Valentine's Day this year.

Yeah, Valentines is annoying because I always end up feeling sorry for myself. Especially when everyone around me is comparing all the roses and things they got.

Thank God I'm out of school and uni this year so at least I won't be around other people.
