Unlonely aspies

I've gone through periods of life where I was very lonely, especially after my first relationship; it was a new experience at the time so it was difficult to let go. I however am now quite content to be alone, not as a permanent solution but simply because I tried my hand at dating a lot of different women and it never ended well. Particularly one demon-woman who used me for more then a year. After that I realized that you can be lonely but still happy; I would rather be alone then be stuck in some stressful nightmare. I'm very happy in the knowledge I have now that I will be better prepared for a relationship and better able to see the signs of abuse that I've experienced.
