So I'm talking to my BF and I am like ok I might have something called asperges and he asks what that is and I say a form of autism. I was expecting to get dumped well I didn't get dumped instead he told me two of his brothers have autism. I was amazed I never thought I with someone who could even start to understand me, but he understands me in ways others cannot. I feel so good I found a mate both worthy of my love and worth of my respect.
Woo-hoooooo!
Why did you think he'd dump you? (Also, why hadn't the topic of his brothers come up before then?)

as is well, there are more men then women out there who have it, and to have dated a girl who had it, was interesting as well.
It's true that more men are diagnosed. Are there solid arguments for fewer women actually having it?
I believe that many women with ASD get other diagnoses slapped on them, just as adults' appendicitis is often presumed to be food poisoning. Bad analogy considering the very different time scales.
