There's always going to be imbalances, not just in location but in profession. Men outnumber women in the IT industry by a significant margin, but on the other hand, women are more prevalent in places like the fashion industry...

It's kind of odd that I'm actually considering that. I've always wanted to work overseas and that was high on the list so it's definately a bonus.

Women should goto Pittsburgh. The statistical male to female ratio is actually very high for the US and you don't have to go through all the trouble of immigration.

Yeah then you have to take out the obese and I mean obese not chubby but just plain flat out fat. Then the ones that are married. Then ones that are lesbians. Statistics I assuming are not taking this into account. Anyway what does that matter, it is rather meaningless, hoping that women will get deseprate enough to go out with you because of this is just plain silly. There are just too many deadly animals and insects in Australia. Even our Black Widow spiders pale in comparison to their Black Widow spiders. If I could spend my entire life indoors in a place insulated from all manners of the local fauna and still get a hold of a willing female Aussie then, and only then wold I make such a move.

#1 cause for loss of Aussie men on the coast?

Heh yeah. It's a colorful place. When you put it that way now I'm really tempted to go. I think all the people I know would agree that if they heard that I got killed by a crocodile, they wouldn't be the least bit surprised.
