Hello,

I am interested in becoming friends with my fellow aspie females who share my interests in various subjects. Lol, no, this isn't an attempt to try and start a romantic relationship, I'm not some lonely guy seeking romance on the Internet (although that would be a wonderful excuse to ignore this post :P). I'm just a slightly autistic male merely looking for interesting conversations and shared interests.

My interests include discussing psychology, sociology, history, literature, religion

If these topics are too broad and sophisticated for your tastes, I do enjoy talking about television, video games, and movies.

I also like long walks in the park, cute little chiwawas, soap operas, and American Idol :P jk. But if the above subjects interest you, either reply to this post or send me a private message.

For any more girls who answer this,

My sincere apologies, I have 4 girls I am talking to now, and I write exceedingly long emails, so four is time consuming enough. But I appreciate your guy's consideration. Thanks!

I always wonder why such "look for friendship" threads aren't posted in the "Social Skills and Making Friends" section and I also wonder why they are always opposite gender-specific since it's all about friendship.

While they might be, there will more likely be those interested in seeking a connection here, even platonic. Secondly, sometimes it is easier for people to make friends with the opposite sex. Or wants experience in relating to them, just at the level of friendship. Doesn't seem so strange to me.

The reason I put a request here is because I use this forum the most. I also knew that posting "looking for friendship with aspie girls" would certainly get the attention of girls in here. Finally, I am well acquainted with guys in interests and hobbies, but never girls, so I thought I'd try to improve on weakest spot intimacy wise.

nice! :D. I wanted to be a psycologist as well one year ago, but I'm afraid my asperger will get in the way and for a few other reasons I think I want to be a GP. med school is hard here though so I hope I'll make it :P.

Chihuahuas are cute little beasties. Considered getting one, but I suspect my high-strung calico kitty would violently object. Ah well, she's cute too!
