When I supscribed to Yahoo personals, I would PM's from "bots" asking me to go to a mail order bride site. I hope this teaches them a lesson.

Recently I checked out Yahoo personals and did a search. The search resulted in nothing but babes. Babe after babe, page after page.

Immediately I thought it was very suspicious. I think they either deliberately place the beautiful girls up front, or many of those images are not real people on the site, but are only lures.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of it was true.

I read a story a year or two ago about how there are some people who set up profiles on those sites with the purpose of not dating but leading other members to porn or mail order bride sites.

Whether or not the dating service is responsible, I don't know what to think, but it did sour me on the idea of online dating. I tried it once many years ago, but never could find anyone, at least not in my area.
