High Persistence: Adaptation to the Environment or ...?

If first the number of women my age I encounter is small and second, from that, the women I get any kind of conversation going with is even smaller, should it come as a surprise that I am going to try a little harder to "hold on" to these women? Why on earth is this viewed so negatively when women's rejecting men so readily is not?

But I'm not sure if that means you hang around them too much, or act clingy, or stalk them. What exactly do you mean you don't give them up easily?
