Well, I made it to 21... I certainly wasn't thinking I was going to make it this far back when I was 14, but I made it. Regardless, here I am, still alone, still without someone to love (now I have the song by Queen stuck in my head because of that...)

PS: no, I have no real plan to go out drinking... it's just something that doesn't interest me...

Happy birthday.

Could be worse. I'm closing in on 22 and still alone.

23 and not alone because I'm deeply madly in love with my cat. And she loves me too.

happy birthday, if you don't like drinking you could always drink something other than alcohol.

birthdays are meant to be enjoyed, if you don't enjoy drinking find something else you like to do. the best way to meet someone is to be social and pubs are one of the best places for that because almost everyone likes a social pint, stick to orange juice or coke and just try having a chat.

i've been alone for about two years now, know why? i've allowed it to happen by not going out and making it different. sure i have difficulties and problems that get in the way but the bottom line is if you want something in life you're the only person who can get it for you.

^And why do you assume that ToadOfSteel hasn't made an effort?

i wasn't assuming, i was just talking about my own experience and was hoping it would help.

OK, but I think most of us are smart enough to already know that staying at home doesn't help.
