Based on what happens to animals, though, I think the answer to your question is yes. Also in historic times they often had eunuchs to be bodyguards for famous females or ect which seems to lend further proof to my hypothesis.
I wonder, though, since sex is often an emotional need as well as a physical one, I wonder if the need for intimacy would still be there. Interesting to ponder.

I don't beleive castration refers to removing everything.. I thought it was more like what happens when you neuter a dog.

I heard it makes the guy weaker and it effects his hormones and he also don't have a sex drive. I think it's a great idea to use on child molesters and pedophiles.

It might also be a good cure for those of us who are inconvenienced with useless libidos. I just wish there were more qualified surgeons who were willing to perform the operation...
