Define "attractive" ;)

I found success in this arena when I stopped hooking up with the model-quality girls. It's an empty path. It took me 30 years to figure that out.

I personally found success when I started hooking up with those who were very, very smart. Smart people don't simply dismiss your behavior as 'barbaric', 'stupid', 'perverse', etc. They actually think about things and try to figure out why you're doing what you're doing. They're open to the idea of "Well, I was doing this because I was trying to be nice." even when it turns out what you didn't wasn't very nice (from a different perspective). They're also good at making suggestions which will help you learn/script NT socialization behavior (if you want) and are capable of taking over socially if you need to get away. Ideal partners, really, if you would like to move in any kind of social circles.

Im sure she's attractive in your eyes but I doubt that she's attractive to most people until I see some evidence. For some reason I strongly suspect that your Asperger Syndrome is perhaps fairly mild, or at least compared to MY particular case.

Why is it important that she be attractive to all you guys?

Are you saying that guys with aspergers are exactly like yourself?

And to say something like that to drowbot....how freaking rude!

EDIT:

-oops forgot to insert question marks...

This is true. I have a tendancy to be a little sarcastic, blunt, give back-handed insults, and just plain be a smart ass at times...all playfully of course. The average woman would take the things I say as insults, but the smart woman finds these things funny, and can look underneath the surface.

My dad (who I believe is AS). My mum still gets hit on and she's 60 now.

My parents met in their mid 30's, while my mum was dating another guy, and my dad pretty much pursued her relentlessly until she finally broke it off with the other guy and dated him. Just shows what determination can do. Also, I think there's a better chance at that age because I think people are looking to settle down, and make choices most logically (according to who they think they could live a good life with, rather than going for subconscious "bad boy" attraction syndrome - or whatever you call it).

My parents aren't on WP though.

I don't know anything about you, but I wouldn't characterize my A.S. as "mild." It actually seems to be getting worse as I get older. My wife, for whatever reason, always made me feel normal from the day I met her. She's the Elliot to my E.T.... lol She is my first and last serious relationship. It was simply a happy accident.

Ive been told that one of the consequences of AS is something called Executive Function Disorder. I have both an I have to say that to function at the normal level(like brushing your teeth everyday as well as bathing daily)takes A HELL of a lot of work for me. :? But on top of AS I seem to have the manifestations of bipolar disorder(mood swings)which for me are getting more and more pronounced with age. Ive never been lucky at love and really havent had a relationship last long enough for even a common law marriage, let alone children.
